As a nonprofit founded in the memory of Jordan Slagle, we reached out to members of our community with an opportunity to celebrate Jordan's generous spirit.
Thank you to all who participiated in the 30 of Generosity March event. We are overwhelmed and humbled by the generous response we have received from our family, friends, and colleagues.
Rooted Generosity will be able leverage generosity – and craft Jordan’s legacy - by funding scholarships, recovery journeys, and acts of generosity for many years to come.
SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY
Realizing a long-held dream of Boundary Bay leadership, the Slagle family and Jordan’s generous friends, have teamed up to endow the Jordan Slagle Boundary Bay Scholarship.
Our hope is that each fall a member of the Boundary Bay family will be gifted with substantial financial support focused on the completion of worthy educational goals.
This important extension of Jordan’s legacy will reflect his own drive to complete his college coursework – cut short by his passing. The awardee each year will possess character traits which honor Jordan’s own . . .
Generosity. Grit. Determination.
A scholarship will be awarded annually to a Boundary Bay Tribe member who best exemplifies these traits.
The scholarship application is open until September 30th, 2023.
